I am Because
We are a nonprofit that focuses on providing equity and access for students, educators, and the community.
For the past several years, the Crossroads Education Foundation has been committed to removing barriers that prevent quality and equitable teaching and learning environments.
We believe that we deliver the difference for educational success.
Our mission is to provide equitable access to education by seeding innovation and removing barriers. Our foundation aims to coalesce education reform conversations around a common language of equity.
Our goal is to impact students and families both inside and outside of the classroom.
Social determinants of health (SDOH) are the conditions in the environments where people are born, live, learn, work, play, worship, and age that affect a wide range of health, functioning, and quality-of-life outcomes and risks.
The Social Determinants of Learning (SDOL) are the 70% of SDOH that our foundation believes can impact learning or be impacted by improved conditions for learning that enable the quality and longevity of all people’s lives.
